'SURMANI' Saniya Patankar is a Grade-A artist of AIR & Doordarshan and empanelled artist of ICCR. She is a disciple of none other than Vidushi Ashwini Bhide Deshpande and Late Mrs. Lilatai Gharpure. Saniya is a recipient of prestigious awards like Paingankar Award, Pandit D V Paluskar Award, 'Surmani’ Title, Rajiv Gandhi Puraskar, Kalagaurav Award to name a few.
