Vocal Recital by Palash Kuri

Palash Kuri is one of the promising vocalist of young generation. He has learnt from many eminent gurus for more than 15 years and has performed in several prestigious concerts. He is specialized in Khayal, Thumri, Bhajan and Nazrulgeeti. Palash started his initial training from his mother Smt. Basabi Kuri. Thereafter he learnt under Sri Sachindra Nath Halder and Sri Prabir Majumder. At the age of 16 he started his training under Late Pandit Arun Bhaduri. He then further had his training under another yet another great maestro Sangeet Acharya Pandit Amiya Ranjan Bandopadhyay. He is also taking Semi Classical training from Bidushi Alpona Roy. He is a recipient of several awards at Doverlane Talent Search Contest, Chetla Murari Smrity Competition, Rajyasangeet Music Contest, Doverlane Pratima Chandra Memorial Contest. He is a recipeint of National Scholarship and Empanlled Artist of ICCR. Palash has performed at many prestigious programs like Rajya Sangeet Sammelan, Uttarpara Sangeet Sammelan, Doverlane Concert for Young Talent etc.
