Vocal Recital by Pragya Parijat Halder

Pragya Parijat Halder was born in Kandi, Murshidabad. She took her first strides towards the arena of music holding the able hands of her mother Smt. Kabita Haldar Ghosh and father Late Shyamal Kumar Haldar who himself was a disciple of Pandit Bibhuti Bhushan Acharya. Later she was guided on the melodious path way of music by Sri Rudra Narayan Roychowdhury a desciple of Pandit Samaresh Chowdhury. Soon she received attention and guidance from the eminent musician Sri Nirmalendu Banerjee. For last 14 years Pragya Parijat is a deciple of the eminent Sangeet Samraat and Bandish Nawaz Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan and Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan under whom she did her rigorous Riyaaz. 

She learns taal under the guidance of Pandit Sanjoy Adhikary. Apart from being adjudged the first class in MA (Vocal) from Rabindra Bharati University, she is A++ holder at MA final year. Within a very short span of time her dedication and talent was recognized by numerous professional performance arena. These include Uttarpara Sangeet Chakra Annual Function, Aakansha Baithaki at Shri Amit chatterjee residence , Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt's rigorous workshop, Samahar Musical Concert, Lalit Kala Parishad to name a few. 

She achieved first place at Sarba Bharatiya Sangeet Sanskritiparisad in the year of 2006. She also assigned for the a musical album released in Durga Puja 2021. She is also a part of ICPA World. Pragya Parijat has been fortunate enough to share the stage with Ustaad Mashkoor Ali Khan in Rajya Sangeet Academy concert.
